Archie Pate (born July 15, 1886 – died April 16, 1936) was an American baseball player. He was a pitcher and an outfielder. He played in the Negro leagues. These leagues were for African American players. They played at a time when major league baseball was segregated.

After his time in Minneapolis, Archie Pate moved to Chicago. He continued his baseball career there. He played for two different teams in the city. These teams were the Leland Giants and the Chicago Giants.
