Arisa Cox is a well-known Canadian television host and producer. She was born in Toronto, Ontario, on December 7, 1978. Many people know her best as the host of the popular TV show Big Brother Canada.

Arisa's Early Career
Arisa Cox studied journalism at Carleton University. After her studies, she started working as a reporter. She was an on-air reporter for CTV Ottawa. Later, she joined a TV show called U8TV: The Lofters as a participant.
Working in Television
Arisa then worked behind the scenes and in front of the camera. She was a creative producer and reporter for A-Channel Ottawa. She also reported on entertainment for shows like The A-List and The Gill Deacon Show. Arisa also showed her acting skills in several TV shows. These included Instant Star and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. She also appeared in The Smart Woman Survival Guide and the CBC mini-series Guns.
News and Entertainment
From 2007 to 2009, Arisa co-hosted E! News Weekend on E! Canada. Her co-host, Jason Ruta, had also been on U8TV. After that show ended, Arisa became an arts and entertainment reporter for CBC News Network.
Hosting Big Brother Canada
On January 21, 2013, Arisa Cox was announced as the host of Big Brother Canada. She quickly became a fan favorite. In 2020, she took on an even bigger role. She became an executive producer for the show, starting with Season 9. This meant she helped make important decisions about the show.
Other Hosting Roles
In May 2013, Arisa also became a co-host for a morning radio show. This show was on CHBN-FM in Edmonton, Alberta. She started this job on July 8, working with Ara on the morning show.
Recent Work
In 2018, Arisa starred in a TV movie called Christmas with a View. She played the character Brock St. Regis. On June 26, 2024, Arisa shared news on Instagram. She announced that Big Brother Canada would not have a 13th season.
