Ariza is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the province of Zaragoza in Aragon, Spain. It sits near the western edge of Aragon, about 142 kilometers (around 88 miles) from the city of Zaragoza.

Ariza is located 763 meters (about 2,503 feet) above sea level. It is on the left bank of the Jalón River. This town was once known as the "city gate of Castile."
