Armando León Bejarano Valadez (born April 11, 1916 – died July 6, 2016) was an important person in Mexico. He was a doctor who specialized in bones and injuries. He was also a politician and a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He served as the Governor of Morelos state from 1976 to 1982.

Early Life and Education
Armando León Bejarano was born in Cuautla, Morelos, Mexico, on April 11, 1916. His parents were Jesús Bejarano Nuñez and Carmen Marcia Valadez Lizarraga. He was the youngest child in his family.
He went to medical school at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He studied there from 1933 to 1938. In 1939, he became a surgeon and a midwife. He chose to specialize in orthopedics, which is about bones and joints. He also specialized in treating injuries, known as trauma.
Medical Career Highlights
Before becoming a politician, Bejarano had a notable medical career. He was the medical director for the Olympic Village during the 1968 Summer Olympics. These Olympic Games took place in Mexico City.
Governor of Morelos
In 1976, Armando León Bejarano became the candidate for Governor of Morelos for the PRI. The Governor is like the leader of a state. Even though he didn't have much political experience in Morelos, he was chosen. He was friends with the President of Mexico at the time, José López Portillo. This friendship helped him become the candidate.
Bejarano was elected Governor and served from May 1976 until 1982. After his term, Lauro Ortega Martínez took over as Governor.
Later Life and Death
After being Governor, Bejarano continued to serve the public. He worked as a judge in the state of Morelos.
Armando León Bejarano passed away at his home in Cuernavaca, Morelos, on July 6, 2016. He was 100 years old. He died of old age. He was survived by his son, Armando Bejarano Almada, and his daughters, Gloria Bejarano Almada and María de Lourdes Bejarano Almada.
