Armilla is a town in Spain. It is located in the Province of Granada, which is part of the Andalusia region. Armilla sits on a flat, fertile plain called the Vega de Granada. It is only about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) away from the center of Granada city.
Armilla shares its borders with several other towns. These include Granada, Ogíjares, Alhendín, and Churriana de la Vega. The town saw its biggest increase in people during the 1900s. This means many more people moved to Armilla during that century.
