Arnold Pinnock is a talented Canadian actor, writer, and producer. He was born in Birmingham, England, on December 10, 1967. Many people know him best for his role as Paul Greebie, the friendly guidance counselor, in the popular TV show Life with Derek.
Arnold Pinnock started his acting journey in sketch comedy at a famous theater in Toronto called Second City Mainstage. Sketch comedy is like a series of short, funny scenes. After gaining experience there, he moved on to work in television and movies.
Creating The Porter
In 2022, Arnold Pinnock took on a big project. He helped create, write, star in, and produce a TV series called The Porter. This show was shown on CBC and BET. It tells the important story of railway sleeping car porters. These porters were mostly Black men who worked on trains. They played a huge part in creating North America's first Black labor union, called the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters. This union helped workers get fair treatment and better pay.
