Aron Michael Ekberg (born March 30, 1991) is a Swedish music producer and DJ. He is known by his stage name, AronChupa.
His song "I'm an Albatraoz" became very popular in 2014. It reached number 1 in Sweden and Denmark. The song also made it into the top 10 in many other European countries. It was even a top 25 hit in the UK and a top 10 hit on US dance charts. AronChupa's younger sister, Little Sis Nora, sang on the song. She also starred in the music video. This video has been watched over 1.35 billion times on YouTube!

AronChupa's Music Journey
Aron Michael Ekberg was born in Borås, Sweden, on March 30, 1991. He went to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco around 2011-2013. While there, he played on the school's soccer team. Later, he moved back to Sweden.
Starting with Albatraoz
AronChupa began his music career in 2012. He formed a band called Albatraoz with four of his best friends. They played a mix of electro house and hip hop music.
In August 2013, the band released their first song, "Albatraoz." Soon after, they signed a deal with Sony Music. The song became a hit in Sweden, staying on the charts for 18 weeks. It was even certified double platinum in Sweden. By January 2014, the song had over 8.5 million plays on Spotify. The band toured around Scandinavia from 2013 to 2017. They released other songs like "Arriba" and "Wunderbar." The band stopped making music together in 2017.
Solo Success and Big Hits
In March 2014, AronChupa released his first solo song, "I'm an Albatraoz." His younger sister, Little Sis Nora, sang the vocals. The song quickly became a huge success. AronChupa then signed his solo project with Sony Music too.
"I'm an Albatraoz" reached number 1 in Sweden and Denmark. It also made it to the top 10 in Germany, Austria, Norway, Finland, Australia, and the Netherlands. The song earned many awards, including double platinum in Sweden and Australia. Its music video has over 1.3 billion views on YouTube.
AronChupa released his second solo song, "Fired Cuz I Was Late," in November 2015. It reached number 100 in Sweden.
In February 2016, he released "Little Swing," also featuring Little Sis Nora. This song became known in the UK. Vodafone UK used it in their TV commercials. In July 2020, he released "The Woodchuck Song." It reached number 12 on Spotify's "Sweden Viral 50" chart.
