Arsinée Khanjian (born on September 6, 1958) is a talented Canadian actress and activist. She is famous for working often with her husband, the filmmaker Atom Egoyan. She won a big award, the Genie Award for Best Actress, in 2003 for her role in the movie Ararat.
Her Acting Career
Arsinée Khanjian has acted in many movies and plays. She often works with her husband, Atom Egoyan, who is a well-known Canadian filmmaker.
She studied a lot in college! She earned a degree in French and Spanish from Concordia University. Later, she got another degree in political science from the University of Toronto.
Arsinée Khanjian is also a strong supporter of human rights. She has spoken out about important issues and even faced challenges for her peaceful protests in Armenia.
Her Life Outside of Acting

Arsinée Khanjian lives in Toronto with her husband, Atom Egoyan, and their son. Her husband has said that she helped him learn more about his own Armenian background.
In 2012, Arsinée Khanjian was chosen to be a jury member at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This means she helped decide which short films and new director films were the best!

- She won the Chloe Award from the Chlotrudis Society for Independent Film in 2002.
- She received the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002.
- In 2003, she was given the Queen Zabel Award by the Armenian Apostolic Church.
- She also won the Sourp Mesrob Mashdotz Award in 2003.
- She was named Best Actress at the Durban International Film Festival in 2003 for her role in Ararat.
- She won the Genie Award for Best Actress for her role in Ararat in 2003.
- In 2005, she received The Crystal Award for Creative Excellence from Women in Film and Television.
