This season was made at the same time as season 18, back in 2013. It's also the last season where 9 Story Media Group did the animation. After this, Oasis Animation took over for future seasons. Plus, this season is special because it's the last time some of the voice actors played their characters. William Healy voiced Arthur, Andrew Dayton was D.W., and Jacob Ewaniuk and Jake Sim voiced the mischievous Tibble Twins.
