The 7th season of the popular TV show Arthur aired on PBS in the United States from October 8 to November 29, 2002. This season had 10 episodes, which were made up of 18 shorter stories. The season kicked off with a special episode called "Arthur, It's Only Rock 'N' Roll".

This season brought some changes to the voices of your favorite characters. Jason Szwimmer became the new voice for D.W., taking over from Oliver Grainger. Alex Hood started voicing Alan "The Brain" Powers, replacing Steven Crowder. Also, Mark Rendall became the voice of Arthur, replacing Justin Bradley. This was also the last season where Patricia Rodriguez voiced Catherine Frensky and Mitchell Rothpan voiced George Lundgren. The show even won a special award, a Daytime Emmy, in 2003 for its amazing sound mixing!

Episode Highlights

• Cast Away: Arthur goes on a fishing trip with his dad, but D.W. tags along and ends up catching more fish than him!
• The Great Sock Mystery: D.W. loses one of her socks, and Pal and Kate (the pets!) try to solve the mystery. They discover a funny "Sock Market" where lost socks end up.
• Francine's Split Decision: Francine tries to be in two places at once – a bowling tournament and her cousin's bar mitzvah. Her friends try to help, but things don't go quite as planned.
• Muffy Goes Metropolitan: Muffy visits a big city, expecting it to be super fancy. But her trip turns out to be very different from what she imagined, with new foods and poetry slams!
• Ants in Arthur's Pants: Arthur builds an ant farm for a science project, but the ants escape! He has to figure out how to get them back.
• Don't Ask Muffy: Muffy starts an advice column, but another character, Molly, seems to be better at giving advice. Muffy tries to copy Molly to improve her column.
• To Tibble the Truth: The Tibble twins learn a lesson about telling the truth after their lies cause problems. They try to be honest, but sometimes being honest can be tricky!
• Waiting to Go: Binky accidentally breaks Brain's new watch, leading to arguments while they wait for their parents.
• Elwood City Turns 100!: Arthur's class puts on a musical to celebrate their city's 100th birthday. But everyone has different ideas, and the play almost becomes a disaster!
• Pick a Car, Any Car: The Read family's car starts making strange noises, and they can't figure out what's wrong. They get some help from a famous radio show!
• Jenna's Bedtime Blues: Jenna is worried about going to a sleepover because she still wets the bed. She learns that it's nothing to be ashamed of.
• D.W.'s Time Trouble: D.W. wishes she was older than Arthur and has a dream where she changes the past!
• Buster's Amish Mismatch: After visiting an Amish farm, Buster tries to live like the Amish, but finds it very difficult to adjust to a different lifestyle.
• The World of Tomorrow: Binky gets trapped in a new exhibit at the science museum and dreams about a future with robot versions of his friends.
• Is There a Doctor in the House?: Arthur and D.W. try to help when their mom gets sick, but they accidentally make things worse!
• Prunella Sees the Light: Prunella invites her blind friend Marina over for a sleepover. Prunella learns to treat Marina like any other friend, without special treatment.
• Return of the Snowball: D.W.'s famous snowball (from an earlier season) seems to have returned, and she tries to protect it. But is it the real one?
• April 9th: A fire at the school forces Arthur and his friends to attend classes at a rival school. This episode shows how everyone deals with big changes and difficult feelings, from losing a diary to overcoming fears.

The 9th season of the popular TV show Arthur aired on PBS in the United States. It was first shown from December 20, 2004, to April 8, 2005. This season had 10 episodes, which means 20 different stories for viewers to enjoy!

A few changes happened behind the scenes for this season. New voice actors joined the cast. Cameron Ansell became the voice of Arthur, taking over from Mark Rendall. Jessica Kardos started voicing Sue Ellen Armstrong, replacing Patricia Rodrigues. Also, Paul-Stuart Brown began voicing Brain, sharing the role with Alex Hood for a while. Later, Paul-Stuart Brown became the only voice for Brain in seasons 10 and 11.

This season was also special because it was the first one produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment. This company took over after CINAR and Cookie Jar merged. Cookie Jar Entertainment continued to produce Arthur until the end of Season 15. Then, they merged with DHX Media.

• In Castles in the Sky, Arthur and his friends had to rebuild their tree house after it collapsed. They even got help from a famous architect named Frank Gehry.
• Buster's Green Thumb showed Buster trying his hand at gardening. He learned about growing his own food and how good fresh tomatoes can taste.

School and Friend Challenges

Many stories dealt with challenges at school and with friends.

• Tipping the Scales featured the school choir. They were excited to sing in Crown City but had to deal with Arthur's strict piano teacher.

The 11th season of the popular TV show Arthur first aired on PBS in the United States. It ran from June 25 to September 7, 2007. This season has 10 episodes, each usually with two short stories.

This was the last season where Cameron Ansell voiced Arthur. He later returned to voice a new character named Rafi in season sixteen. Robert Naylor took over as the voice of D.W., replacing Jason Szwimmer. Robert Naylor had previously voiced James in earlier seasons (7 through 10). This was also the final season for Paul-Stuart Brown as the voice of Brain. The animation for this season was done by AKOM.

The 12th season of the TV show Arthur aired on PBS in the United States. It ran from October 6, 2008, to April 24, 2009. This season had 10 episodes, which included 20 smaller stories.

Some of these episodes were shown in other countries like Canada and the United Kingdom much earlier. This season was made in a wider screen format. However, in the U.S., it was still shown in the older, squarer screen format. This meant parts of the picture were cut off.

The animation for this season was done by Animation Services HK Ltd. This was a change from the previous company, AKOM. Also, Michael Hirsh became the main producer for the first time this season.

Famous people also appeared on the show! Joan Rivers was a guest star in the first episode, playing Francine's grandmother. Lance Armstrong also appeared as himself in the episode "Room to Ride."

There were some changes in the voice cast too. Dallas Jokic started voicing Arthur, taking over from Cameron Ansell. Lyle O'Donohoe became the new voice for Brain, replacing Paul-Stuart Brown.

The 16th season of the popular TV show Arthur first aired on PBS in the United States. It ran from October 15, 2012, to May 10, 2013. This season had 10 episodes, each usually split into two shorter stories.

This season was special for a few reasons. It was the first time the show was handled by a new company, 9 Story Media Group. Also, the animation style changed. Instead of the older, traditional animation, they started using Flash animation. This allowed the show to be made in a wider screen format (16:9), which is what most TVs use today.

What Happened in Season 16

Season 16 introduced some exciting new characters and explored many everyday challenges. The episodes often taught important lessons about friendship, honesty, and growing up.

New Friends and Big Changes

One big change was the arrival of a new girl named Ladonna. She moved to Elwood City from Louisiana with her younger brother, Bud. Ladonna loved telling stories to make new friends. Sometimes, she even made up parts of her stories. This led to some funny and tricky situations. Bud, her brother, also tried to make friends, especially with D.W.

School and Life Lessons

The kids at Lakewood Elementary faced many interesting challenges.

• In "Based on a True Story," Ladonna learned that honesty is always the best policy.
• "Flippity Francine" showed Francine dealing with an embarrassing video. She wanted to be known for something she was proud of instead.
• "Muffy Takes the Wheel" taught Muffy about doing her own work. Her dad tried to help too much with a school project.
• "Get Smart" featured Mr. Ratburn's class testing a new smart board. Brain had to prove that even technology can be wrong sometimes.
• "So Funny I Forgot to Laugh" was an important episode. Arthur learned about the impact of his words. He realized that teasing can really hurt someone's feelings.

Fun with D.W. and Friends

D.W. also had her own adventures.

• In "All About D.W.," she really wanted a part in the preschool play. She learned about being an understudy.
• "Blockheads" showed D.W. and Emily working together. They built their dream house out of blocks.
• "Night of the Tibble" was about D.W. and Emily trying to protect James. They were worried about his sleepover with the Tibble twins.
• "Read and Flumbergast" saw D.W. acting as a judge. She helped solve a mystery about a missing cupcake.

Sports, Books, and More

The season also covered other fun topics.

• "Baseball Blues" was about George learning to play baseball better. He already knew a lot about the sport.
• "Buster's Book Battle" explored the challenge of reading for fun versus reading for points.
• "On the Buster Scale" showed Buster and Brain disagreeing. They had different ideas about how to rate movies.
• "Fern and the Case of the Stolen Story" taught Fern about respecting other people's ideas.
• "Sue Ellen Vegges Out" explored vegetarianism. It showed how friends can influence each other's choices.

New Voices for Familiar Faces

This season brought some changes to the voices of your favorite characters. Several voice actors were replaced.

• Drew Adkins became the new voice of Arthur.
• Jake Beale started voicing D.W. (He had previously voiced James in earlier seasons).
• Siam Yu took over as the voice of Brain.
• Jacob Ewaniuk became the voice of Timmy.
• Robyn Thaler began voicing Catherine.

This season also introduced the voices for the new characters. Krystal Meadows voiced Ladonna Compson, and Julie Lemieux voiced Bud Compson.

The 20th season of the popular TV show Arthur started airing in the United States on October 10, 2016. It finished on June 1, 2017. For this season, a new company called Oasis Animation took over making the cartoons. Before this, 9 Story Media Group did the animation.

Some characters also got new voices this season. Christian Distefano became the new voice for D.W. He had previously voiced James in the 18th and 19th seasons. Jacob Ursomarzo took over as the voice of Arthur. Samuel Faraci and Devan Cohen became the new voices for Timmy and Tommy Tibble.

About the 20th Season

The 20th season of Arthur brought new adventures. It also introduced some changes behind the scenes. The show continued to teach important lessons. It explored everyday challenges for kids.

New Voices for Favorite Characters

Fans of Arthur might have noticed some changes. Several characters had new voice actors. This is common for long-running TV shows.

• D.W. was voiced by Christian Distefano. He replaced Andrew Dayton.
• Arthur was voiced by Jacob Ursomarzo. He took over from William Healy.
• Timmy and Tommy Tibble also got new voices. Samuel Faraci and Devan Cohen replaced Jacob Ewaniuk and Jake Sim.

These new voices helped keep the characters lively. They continued to bring the beloved stories to life.

• Buster's Second Chance: Buster dreams about being super smart. He imagines how his life would change.
• Arthur and the Whole Truth: Arthur worries that Buster is not being honest. He thinks Buster is trying not to hurt his feelings.

Episode 2: Fern's Flights of Fancy / Cereal

• Fern's Flights of Fancy: Fern writes a story for a contest. She feels sad when she doesn't win. She then tries playing soccer instead.
• Cereal: D.W.'s favorite cereal box disappears. Buster decides to make a podcast about the mystery.

Episode 3: He Said, He Said / Bunny Trouble

• He Said, He Said: Arthur and his friends want to watch a special show. But their cable goes out. Meanwhile, D.W. plays a game with Bud.
• Bunny Trouble: D.W. takes home her class pet, a bunny. The bunny runs away! D.W. needs to find it with Ladonna's help.

Episode 4: Bud's Knotty Problem / That's MY Grandma!

• Bud's Knotty Problem: Bud wants a cool pair of boots. He learns how to tie his shoes to wear them.
• That's MY Grandma!: D.W. gets upset when her Grandma Thora becomes very popular. Grandma Thora is a great babysitter for everyone.

Episode 5: Lend Me Your Ear / The Butler Did It

• Lend Me Your Ear: Mr. Ratburn seems to ignore his students. Arthur, Buster, and Brain are worried. They find out he has hearing loss from playing in a band.
• The Butler Did It: Mr. Crosswire gets a robot butler. Muffy worries that the robot might replace Bailey, their human butler.

Episode 6: Prunella's Tent of Portent / Mutiny on the Pitch

• Prunella's Tent of Portent: Prunella tells fortunes. Marina doesn't believe her. They make a bet to see if Prunella's predictions come true.
• Mutiny on the Pitch: Francine is the bossy leader of her soccer team. She lets Buster take over her position.

Episode 7: The Hallway Minotaur / Ladonna's Like List

• The Hallway Minotaur: George becomes the hallway monitor at Lakewood Elementary. He takes his job very seriously.
