Where Was Arundel Located?
This former settlement was situated about 7 miles (11 kilometers) north of a town called Atwater. It was also right next to the Southern Pacific Railroad, which was an important railway line. Arundel was about 161 feet (49 meters) above sea level.
When Did Arundel Exist?
Arundel appeared on maps made by the USGS (a science agency that maps the land) as late as 1917. This tells us that it was a recognized place at least until that time. Today, Arundel is no longer an active settlement.
