Natural Hot Springs in Ash Springs
Ash Springs is famous for its natural hot springs. These springs are found on land managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), which is a government agency.
Water Temperature and Pool Details
The water comes out of several springs at a warm temperature of about 97 degrees Fahrenheit (36 degrees Celsius). As the water flows into a large soaking pool, it cools slightly to about 95 degrees Fahrenheit. This pool is about 15 feet across and is filled with mineral water.
Important Safety Information
It's very important to know that the water in these hot springs can sometimes contain a tiny living organism. This organism can make people very sick if it enters the body through the nose. Because of this, it's safest to avoid putting your head underwater when swimming or soaking in these springs. Always be careful and follow any safety signs.
