Ashleigh Jade Brennan, born on January 18, 1991, is a talented former Australian gymnast. She was a key member of Australia's national artistic gymnastics team. Ashleigh competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics, where her team placed sixth. She also earned two team gold medals at the Commonwealth Games in 2006 and 2010. She won a silver medal in 2006 and a bronze in 2010 at the Commonwealth Games. Ashleigh was chosen to represent Australia again at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Ashleigh's Gymnastics Journey
Ashleigh Brennan is known as an all-around gymnastics specialist. She began her gymnastics journey when she was seven years old. Before her practices and competitions, she often drinks coffee to help her focus.
Early Career and National Championships
Ashleigh made her first appearance at the senior Australian National Championships in 2007. She had missed the 2004, 2005, and 2006 championships due to injuries.
At the 2007 national championships, she performed well:
- She finished third in the floor exercise.
- She placed fourth on the balance beam.
- She was eighth in the all-around competition.
In 2008, Ashleigh continued to shine:

Ashleigh Brennan was part of the Australian team that qualified for the 2012 Olympics. In June 2012, she was one of three Australian female gymnasts confirmed to go to the Games. The others were Lauren Mitchell and Emily Little.
She represented Australia in women's artistic gymnastics at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She was chosen to compete in the women's team event. Her Olympic training included practicing with bright strobe lights and distracting noises. This helped her prepare for the intense environment of the Games.
On July 29, Ashleigh qualified for the individual all-around final. She placed 28th with a score of 54.232. Her performance helped the Australian team finish tenth in the qualification round. In the all-around final on August 2, she placed 20th with a score of 55.332.
Ashleigh Brennan retired from gymnastics in November 2012. She then decided to pursue a career in sports science.
