Emily Little (born 29 March 1994) is an Australian artistic gymnast. She is known for winning a gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the team gymnastics event. Emily also represented Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Emily Little, often called Em, was born on 29 March 1994. Her hometown is Perth, in Western Australia, where she still lives. She went to City Beach Primary School. Later, she attended Churchlands Senior High School. Emily is 152 centimeters (5 feet) tall. She weighs 52 kilograms (114 pounds).

Emily Little is a talented Australian artistic gymnast. She received scholarships from the Western Australian Institute of Sport and the Australian Institute of Sport. Since 2003, she has been coached by Martine George and Nikolai Lapchine.

Emily was a member of Australia's senior national gymnastics team for four years. She was part of the 2012 Australian Olympic team. Her coach for the Olympics was Peggy Liddick. Emily often started the routines for her team.

Major Achievements and Competitions

Emily won a gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the team event. She also earned a silver medal in the individual all-around competition at the same games. In 2010 and 2011, she helped the Australian team finish sixth at the Artistic World Championships.

At the 2012 Australian Gymnastics Championships in Sydney, Emily placed second in the all-around event. She also won two silver medals in the floor and vault events. During this competition, she added new moves to her routines. This event was important for gymnasts hoping to qualify for the Olympics.

In June 2012, Emily was one of three Australian female gymnasts confirmed to compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She joined Lauren Mitchell and Ashleigh Brennan on the team. Emily was 18 years old when she competed in the women's team event at the Olympics. Her training included practicing with bright lights and loud noises. This helped her get ready for the Olympic environment.

In March 2015, Emily was invited to the AT&T American Cup. She competed against famous gymnasts like Simone Biles. Emily did very well, finishing seventh. This was her second international competition since 2012.

In May 2015, Emily competed in the Australian Gymnastics Championships. She finished second in the All-Around finals. She won the vault finals with a score of 15.3. She also placed third in the balance beam finals. In the floor finals, Emily finished second.

In 2017, during the Australian National Championships, Emily had an injury during her floor routine.
