Ashley Slater (born 1961) is a British trombone player. He is well-known for his voice work on the children's television series Boo!. He is also famous for being part of the band Freak Power with Norman Cook.

Ashley Slater's Music Journey
Ashley Slater started his music career after leaving the army in 1983. He went to a special music school to study. After that, he joined a cool jazz group called Loose Tubes.
Over the years, Ashley became a top choice for playing the bass and tenor trombone. He worked with many famous jazz musicians like George Russell and Carla Bley. He also played with other bands such as El Sonido de Londres and Billy Jenkins.
