Asia Nitollano, born on February 14, 1988, is an American singer, dancer, model, and cheerleader. She became famous after winning a TV show called Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll. After winning, she joined the music group The Pussycat Dolls. However, she left the group a few months later to start her own solo music career.

About Asia Nitollano's Early Life
Asia Nitollano was born in Mt. Vernon, New York. Her father is the singer Joe Bataan. Asia has a daughter named Viola Crayola. Her family background includes African American, Puerto Rican, and Filipino heritage.
Becoming a Pussycat Doll
When she was a teenager, Asia was a dancer for the New York Knicks basketball team. In 2007, she became one of the nine finalists on a TV show called Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll. This show was on The CW channel.
In the show's final episode, the judges chose her to be the newest member of The Pussycat Dolls. The judges were Robin Antin (who created the group), Ron Fair, and Lil' Kim. Robin Antin said that even though Asia wasn't the strongest singer among the finalists, she was the best all-around performer.
Asia Nitollano's Music Career
Asia Nitollano was a member of The Pussycat Dolls for only a short time. She was supposed to officially join the group in 2007. This was after they finished their world tour and a tour with Christina Aguilera.
Leaving The Pussycat Dolls
In July 2007, a newspaper reported that Asia had decided to start her own solo career. She was never officially required by a contract to join The Pussycat Dolls. The head of The CW Network, Dawn Ostroff, said that Asia was not fired. Instead, she chose to leave the group to pursue her own music.
Before this announcement, people had wondered about Asia's role in the group for months. She had never performed with the group, except for the TV show's finale. She was also not present at big performances, like Live Earth 2007.
After The Pussycat Dolls
Later in 2007, Asia appeared in advertisements for Sean Combs' clothing line, Sean Jean Women's collection. There were reports that she signed a music deal with The Inc. Records. However, she has not released any music under that deal.
By July 2009, Asia Nitollano returned to the New York Knicks. She was a finalist in the auditions for the 2009–2010 Knicks City Dancers.
