Asma Lamnawar (Arabic: أسماء لمنور; born on July 25, 1978) is a talented singer and actress from Morocco. She is famous for her amazing voice and has released many popular songs and albums. Asma started her music journey early and has become a well-known artist in the Arabic music world.

Her Music Journey

Asma first showed her singing talent in 1995 at a festival called "Angham." This event was organized by Moroccan Radio and TV. She won an award for the best performance there! Even though she won, she waited until 2002 to officially start her music career.

Early Albums

Asma's first album, named "ناري" (which means "Fiery"), came out in 2002. Later, in 2005, she released another album called "شي عادي" ("Something Normal"). In the same year, she sang a duet (a song with two singers) with an artist named Abu.

Joining Rotana Records

In 2008, Asma signed with Rotana Records, a big music company. She released an album with them that same year called "من هنا لبكره" ("Men Hina L Bukra"). She released another album, "Rouh," with Rotana in 2010. Her album Sabiya was also produced by Rotana and came out in 2017.

Performing for the FIFA Club World Cup

Asma was one of the singers who performed the official song for the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup. This big football event took place in Morocco. The song was called “Welcome to Morocco,” and it was a special way to welcome everyone to the country.
