Attadale is a lovely settlement and a large estate in the Highland area of Scotland. Its name comes from the Gaelic word Attadal. You can find Attadale on the southern shore of Loch Carron. It sits between the villages of Stromeferry and Strathcarron.

Getting to Attadale

Attadale has its own train station. It is called Attadale railway station. This station is on the famous Kyle of Lochalsh Line. This train line offers incredible views as it travels through the Highlands.

  • Corbetts: There is also one Corbett on the estate. This mountain is called Beinn Dronaig. A Corbett is a Scottish mountain between 2,500 and 3,000 feet (762 and 914.4 meters) high.
