Auckland Live and Auckland Conventions, Venues & Events (sometimes called ALAC) are groups that bring exciting live shows and events to Auckland, New Zealand. They used to be known as The Edge. These groups present many different performances at famous places across Auckland. They also help artists and creative people. Plus, they give everyone, no matter their age, chances to enjoy the arts.

Auckland Live and Auckland Conventions are part of Auckland Unlimited. This is a large organization managed by the Auckland Council. They look after several important venues, including:

  • Aotea Centre: A modern building for events.
  • Aotea Square: A public space located between the venues.
  • Auckland Town Hall: A historic building famous for concerts.
  • Bruce Mason Centre: A theatre for performing arts in North Shore, Auckland.
  • Civic Theatre: A big, old theatre with a special "atmospheric" design.
  • Queens Wharf: Found on the Auckland waterfront. It includes Shed 10 and The Cloud.

In 2009, Auckland Live had 736,600 people attend their events. These events were part of their "Arts Agenda" and "Commercial Entertainment" programs.
