Isabella Augusta Persse (better known as Lady Gregory; 15 March 1852 – 22 May 1932) was an important Irish writer, storyteller, and theatre manager. She helped create the famous Abbey Theatre in Dublin. Lady Gregory also wrote many plays and collected old Irish myths.
