Ayane Sakura (佐倉 綾音, Sakura Ayane, born January 29, 1994) is a talented Japanese voice actress. She works with Aoni Production, a company that manages voice actors. She is well-known for giving life to many popular characters in anime shows and video games. She even won an award for Best Supporting Actress at the 12th Seiyu Awards!

You might know her voice from characters like Ochaco Uraraka in My Hero Academia, Yotsuba Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets, Gabi Braun in Attack on Titan: The Final Season, Yae Miko in Genshin Impact, and Fiona Frost in Spy × Family. About Ayane Sakura

Ayane Sakura was born in Ebisu, Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, on January 29, 1994. When she was in middle school, she dreamed of becoming an actress. She joined a theater school to learn acting. There, she studied many things like Japanese dancing, sword fighting, and voice training.

After performing on stage, she realized that acting wasn't quite the right path for her. That's when she decided to become a voice actress instead. This job allows her to use her voice to bring characters to life.

Her Voice Acting Journey

Ayane Sakura started her voice acting career in 2010. Her first role was in the movie Keroro Gunso the Super Movie: Creation! Ultimate Keroro, Wonder Space-Time Island. She also voiced Futaba Shirayuki in an episode of Ōkami-san & her Seven Companions.

In 2011, she got her first main role as Merry Nightmare in the anime series Dream Eater Merry. She also voiced young Yozora Mikazuki in Haganai. She even sang the ending theme song for Dream Eater Merry, called "Yume to Kibō to Ashita no Atashi".

Over the years, Ayane Sakura has voiced a huge variety of characters. She played Natsumi Koshigaya in Non Non Biyori and Suzuka Dairenji in Tokyo Ravens. In 2014, she became the voice of Cocoa Hoto in Is the Order a Rabbit?. She and her co-stars formed a group called Petit Rabbit's and sang the show's opening theme.

Some of her other well-known roles include Tsubaki Sawabe in Your Lie in April, Iroha Isshiki in My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected, and Nao Tomori in Charlotte. In 2016, she took on the role of Ochaco Uraraka in the very popular anime My Hero Academia.

In 2017, she won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 12th Seiyu Awards. She shared this award with another talented voice actress, Saori Ōnishi. In 2019, she voiced Yotsuba Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets, a role that became very popular.

In early 2022, Ayane Sakura changed her talent agency. She moved from I'm Enterprise to Aoni Production, where she continues her amazing work. She has continued to voice many characters in new and ongoing shows, including Gabi Braun in Attack on Titan: The Final Season and Fiona Frost in Spy × Family. She also voices Yae Miko in the popular video game Genshin Impact.
