My Hero Academia: Two Heroes is a 2018 Japanese anime superhero film based on the manga My Hero Academia by Kōhei Horikoshi. Set after Episode 58 (found in season three) of the anime series, but can be watched at the end of season three if you don’t want to interrupt the current events happening in the anime series. The film was directed by Kenji Nagasaki and produced by Bones. Anime Expo hosted the film's world premiere on July 5, 2018, and it was later released to theaters in Japan on August 3, 2018, and in a limited release in the United States and Canada from September 25 through October 2, 2018, to positive reviews from critics. The events of the film take place after the Final Exams arc and before the Forest Training Camp arc in the My Hero Academia manga. A second film, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, was released in Japan in December 2019 and February 2020 in North America.
