Nobuhiko Okamoto (岡本 信彦, Okamoto Nobuhiko, born October 24, 1986) is a Japanese voice actor and singer. He is known for giving voices to many popular anime characters. He also sings his own music.

Nobuhiko Okamoto has won important awards for his voice acting. He received the Best New Actor Award at the 3rd Seiyu Awards. Later, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 5th Seiyu Awards.

Voice Acting Adventures

Nobuhiko Okamoto became a voice actor because he loved the anime Slam Dunk. He thought the character Rukawa was very cool. He wanted to be like him and bring characters to life with his voice.

He won the Best New Actor award when he finished university. This was for his roles as Accelerator in A Certain Magical Index and Takumi Usui in Maid Sama!.

Later, he won the Best Supporting Actor award. This was for his roles like Eiji Niizuma in Bakuman. He also voiced Accelerator again in A Certain Magical Index.

He has voiced many famous characters. Some of these include:

In 2022, Okamoto moved to a new voice acting company called Raccoon Dog. This happened after his old company, Pro-Fit, closed down.

Music Journey

Besides voice acting, Nobuhiko Okamoto also sings. He has sung many songs for the anime characters he plays. These are often called "character CDs" or "insert songs."

On his 25th birthday, he announced he would start a singing career. In May 2012, he released his first mini-album, Palette. It was very popular and reached number 9 on the weekly Oricon music chart in Japan.

He released his second mini-album, Enjoy Full, in June 2013. In March 2014, he released his first single, "Shunkan Beat."

Life Outside the Studio

Nobuhiko Okamoto is very good at playing shogi, which is a Japanese board game similar to chess. He even has a special rank in shogi! He has appeared in online events about shogi and even Pokémon games.

He also really enjoys playing badminton. In his free time, he loves to play video games. He used to host a radio show about gaming called RADIO 4Gamer. The show later changed its name and moved to YouTube.
