Justin Briner is an American voice actor. He is well-known for giving voices to characters in English versions of anime movies and TV shows. His most famous role is voicing Izuku "Deku" Midoriya in the popular series My Hero Academia.
Justin Briner has also voiced many other characters. These include Mikaela Hyakuya in Seraph of the End, Maki Katsuragi in Stars Align, and Luck Voltia in Black Clover. He also voiced Shō Kusakabe from Fire Force, Hanako/Amane Yugi from Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, and Kiyotaka Ayanokoji from Classroom of the Elite.

About Justin Briner
Justin Briner grew up in Maryland, USA. He has a younger sister named Hayley Briner. Before he became a voice actor, he studied theater at the University of North Texas.
In 2015, Justin Briner started voicing Mikaela Hyakuya in the anime series Seraph of the End. In this show, Mikaela is a teenage orphan who turns into a vampire. He also voiced Elam in The Heroic Legend of Arslan. Elam is a young boy who helps the main character, Arslan.
Briner also voiced the main character Qwenthur Barbotage in the mech-themed anime Heavy Object. Critics praised his voice work in the show, saying he helped make the characters very likable.
Voice Acting in Video Games
In video games, Justin Briner voiced Ichi in Cibele. This indie game is about how people form relationships online. Cibele won an award at the 2016 Independent Games Festival, which helped make Briner's name more widely known.
Becoming Izuku Midoriya
One of Justin Briner's biggest roles is Izuku Midoriya in My Hero Academia. Izuku is a middle school student who doesn't have superhero powers in a world full of heroes. He gets a chance to join a special school for superheroes.
Reviewers have called Briner's performance "excellent" and "standout." They noted that he perfectly captures Izuku's hopeful and nerdy personality. My Hero Academia has been very successful, running for seven seasons. Briner often attends anime conventions like Anime Expo and San Diego Comic-Con to talk about his work on the show.
Other Anime Roles
Justin Briner has continued to voice main characters in many other anime series. He voiced Alfonso San Valiante, a crown prince, in Garo: The Animation. He also voiced Lance in Puzzle & Dragons X and Nasu no Yoichi in Drifters.
In the comedy show Nanbaka, his voice for Nico was described as "more awestruck and childlike." He also voiced Kensuke Hanasaki in Trickster. Briner also worked behind the scenes as a head writer for the English script of Rio: Rainbow Gate.
In 2017, he took on lead roles such as Haruki Mishima in Convenience Store Boy Friends, Tazuna Takatsuki in Hand Shakers, and Ernesti "Eru" Echavalier in Knight's & Magic. He also voiced Justice "Seigi" Akatsuka in Taboo Tattoo.
