Justin Briner is a voice actor from the U.S. He lends his voice to English versions of anime shows and movies. He is most famous for voicing Izuku "Deku" Midoriya in the popular anime My Hero Academia.
Briner has also voiced many other characters. These include Mikaela Hyakuya in Seraph of the End, Maki Katsuragi in Stars Align, and Luck Voltia in Black Clover. He also voiced Shō Kusakabe from Fire Force and Hanako/Amane Yugi from Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun.

About Justin Briner
Justin Briner grew up in Maryland. He has a younger sister named Hayley Briner. Before becoming a voice actor, he studied theater at the University of North Texas.
In 2015, he voiced Mikaela Hyakuya in Seraph of the End. Mikaela is a main character who becomes a vampire. Briner also voiced Elam in The Heroic Legend of Arslan. Elam is a young boy who helps the character Narsus.
Voice Acting for Video Games
Justin Briner also voices characters in video games. He voiced Ichi in the indie video game Cibele. This game was about online friendships. Cibele won an award at the 2016 Independent Games Festival. This helped make Briner's name known.
His Role in My Hero Academia
In My Hero Academia, Briner voices the main character, Izuku Midoriya. Izuku is a middle school student who was not born with superpowers. However, he lives in a world full of superheroes. He gets a chance to join a special school for heroes.
Critics have praised Briner's performance as Izuku. They say he perfectly captures Izuku's hopeful and nerdy personality. Briner and fellow voice actor Christopher Sabat often attend anime conventions. They talk about their work on My Hero Academia with fans.

Briner continues to voice lead characters in other anime shows. He voiced Alfonso San Valiante, the crown prince, in Garo: The Animation. He also voiced Lance in Puzzle & Dragons X and Nasu no Yoichi in Drifters.
In the comedy show Nanbaka, his voice for the character Nico was described as "childlike." He also voiced Kensuke Hanasaki in Trickster. Briner has also worked behind the scenes. He was the head writer for the English script of Rio: Rainbow Gate.
In 2017, he voiced several main characters. These included Haruki Mishima in Convenience Store Boy Friends and Tazuna Takatsuki in Hand Shakers. He also voiced Ernesti "Eru" Echavalier in Knight's & Magic. That same year, he got the main role of Justice "Seigi" Akatsuka in Taboo Tattoo.
