Aydan Calafiore, also known as AYDAN, is an Australian singer and actor. He became famous after being one of the top four finalists on The Voice Australia in 2018. Before that, he was a main cast member on the TV show Young Talent Time in 2012. Aydan has also performed in musicals like Jagged Little Pill and Fangirls. He also competed to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019.

Aydan's Early Career
Starting with Young Talent Time
In 2012, Aydan Calafiore was the youngest person on the TV show Young Talent Time. He was only eleven years old. After the show ended in May, he went on tour. He performed live shows with the other cast members.
Auditioning for Australia's Got Talent
In 2013, Aydan tried out for Australia’s Got Talent. He sang 'As Long as You Love Me' by Justin Bieber. He made it to the semi-finals of the competition. In the semi-finals, he performed 'Classic' by MKTO. He was eliminated in the first semi-final round that September.
Aydan on The Voice Australia
First Try on The Voice
In 2017, Aydan auditioned for The Voice Australia. He sang "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur. However, none of the coaches turned their chairs for him. This meant he did not get to join a team that season.
Returning for The Voice Season 7
Aydan returned to The Voice Australia in 2018 for its seventh season. This time, all four coaches turned their chairs during his audition. He chose to join Joe Jonas' team. Aydan made it all the way to the Grand Final on June 17, 2018. He finished in fourth place in the competition.

Eurovision – Australia Decides
On December 18, 2018, it was announced that Aydan would compete in Eurovision - Australia Decides. This competition chooses who will represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest. In January 2019, Aydan released his song "Dust" for the contest. He finished in 6th place overall.
Aydan's Acting Roles
Performing in Fangirls
Aydan played the character Harry in the musical Fangirls. Harry was part of a big boy band called True Connection. Aydan performed in the 2019 and 2021 tours of the show. The album for the musical came out on April 30, 2021.
Starring in Jagged Little Pill
Aydan also played Phoenix in the Australian version of the musical Jagged Little Pill. Phoenix was a popular high school student. Aydan performed this role during the 2021 and 2022 Australian tours.
Role in Invisible Boys
Aydan played the character Zeke in the TV series Invisible Boys. Zeke was one of the gay teenagers in the show. The series was released on Stan on February 13, 2025.
