Aydan Calafiore, also known as AYDAN, is an Australian singer and actor. He is well-known for being one of the top four finalists on The Voice Australia in 2018. Before that, he was a main cast member in the 2012 TV show Young Talent Time. Aydan also performed in Eurovision - Australia Decides in 2019. He has also acted in musicals like Jagged Little Pill.

Aydan's Career Journey

Starting Out: Young Talent Time (2012)

In 2012, Aydan was the youngest person on Network Ten’s new version of Young Talent Time. He was only eleven years old. After the show ended in May, he went on tour. He performed live with the other cast members.

Talent Show: Australia’s Got Talent (2013)

In 2013, Aydan tried out for Australia’s Got Talent. He sang 'As Long as You Love Me' by Justin Bieber. He made it to the semi-finals. There, he sang 'Classic' by MKTO. He was eliminated in the first semi-final round.

Big Break: The Voice (2017-2018)

In 2017, Aydan first auditioned for The Voice Australia. He sang "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur. However, none of the coaches chose him for their team.

Aydan returned in 2018 for the seventh season of The Voice Australia. This time, all four coaches turned their chairs for him! He chose to join Joe Jonas' team. Aydan made it all the way to the Grand Final on June 17, 2018. He finished in fourth place in the competition.

After The Voice, Aydan released his song "Something About You" in July 2018. This song was released with Universal Music Australia.

Eurovision: Australia Decides (2019)

In December 2018, it was announced that Aydan would compete in Eurovision - Australia Decides. This show picks Australia's song for the Eurovision Song Contest. In January 2019, Aydan released his song "Dust" for the competition. He finished in 6th place overall.

On Stage: Musicals and TV Shows

Fangirls (2019 & 2021)

Aydan performed in the musical Fangirls. He played the character Harry, who was part of a big boy band called True Connection. He was in the 2019 and 2021 tours of the show.

Jagged Little Pill (2021 & 2022)

Aydan also played Phoenix in the Australian version of the musical Jagged Little Pill. Phoenix was a popular high school student. He performed in the 2021 and 2022 tours across Australia.

Invisible Boys (Upcoming 2025)

In 2025, Aydan will be in a new TV series called Invisible Boys. He will play a character named Zeke. The show will be available on Stan.
