B.X. Falls is a lovely, small waterfall found near Vernon, British Columbia, in Canada. It's a great spot to visit if you're exploring the area! The falls are located along B.X. Creek, just after the creek flows under Tillicum Road. You can find them between Tillicum Road and Star Road, which both connect to Silverstar Road. There's a walking trail that connects these two roads. A short side path from this main trail leads down into the canyon, letting you get a close-up view of the falls.
Exploring B.X. Falls
B.X. Falls is nestled within a short but steep canyon. This canyon is part of B.X. Creek, just below where the creek passes under Tillicum Road. The water flows into this canyon, creating a couple of small pools. After these pools, the water cascades down about 30 feet (9 meters) into a small, open area below.
Even though it's called a "waterfall," the slope isn't super steep. This means something pretty cool happens in winter! When the falls freeze over and enough snow piles up on the ice, it actually becomes quite easy to climb up the frozen falls. You don't even need any special climbing gear! It's a unique natural feature that changes with the seasons.
