Bruce E. Daniels Jr. (born October 24, 1989) is a former professional American football player. He played as a quarterback and also as a wide receiver. B. J. Daniels was picked by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2013 NFL draft. He played college football at South Florida. He is famous for winning Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seattle Seahawks. After his playing career, he became a coach. He is now an assistant director at the University of South Florida.

B. J. Daniels: A Football Journey
B. J. Daniels grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. He went to Lincoln High School. In one amazing game, he threw for 723 yards and 6 touchdowns! This showed everyone how talented he was.
Early Life and College Years
After high school, B. J. Daniels played college football for the University of South Florida. He was their starting quarterback for four years. He was known for being great at both passing and running the ball.
In 2009, he had a fantastic season. He passed for 1,983 yards and ran for 772 yards, scoring 23 touchdowns in total. He continued to play well, even though an injury cut his senior season short. By the end of his college career, he had gained over 10,500 total yards and scored 77 touchdowns. This made him one of the top players in his college conference's history.

B. J. Daniels started his professional football career in 2013. He was chosen by the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL Draft.
Starting with the 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers picked B. J. Daniels in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. This was a big step for him into the world of professional football.
Winning with the Seahawks
Later in 2013, B. J. Daniels joined the Seattle Seahawks. This was a very exciting time for him. With the Seahawks, he won Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014! B. J. Daniels also played in other professional football leagues. In 2018, he signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He then played for the Salt Lake Stallions in the Alliance of American Football (AAF) in 2019. In 2020, he joined the Seattle Dragons in the XFL.
