This exciting TV show was all about finding the best home cook who could master the barbecue. Imagine a cooking competition, but only with grills! The main goal was to discover an amazing amateur barbecuer. The person who won the whole competition got a fantastic prize of £25,000.
How the BBQ Champ Competition Worked
Each episode of BBQ Champ featured different cooking challenges. Contestants had to show off their grilling skills. They cooked all sorts of delicious food on the barbecue. The judges watched closely and tasted everything.
At the end of each episode, the judges picked two contestants who hadn't done as well as the others. These two then had to face a special "grill-off" challenge. It was a head-to-head cooking battle! The judges then chose their favorite from this grill-off. The winner of the grill-off got to stay in the competition and move on to the next episode. The other person, sadly, was eliminated and had to go home. This made every episode very exciting!

The show was presented by the famous TV personality Myleene Klass. She guided the contestants and kept the show moving. The two judges were Mark Blatchford and Adam Richman. Adam Richman is well-known for his love of food and has hosted other food shows. Together, they had the tough job of tasting all the barbecue creations and deciding who was the best.

- Simon Dyer was the amazing winner of BBQ Champ! He was 52 years old and owned a farm. He showed incredible grilling skills throughout the series.
- Emma Millest, who was 32 and an admin assistant, came in second place. She was the runner-up.
- Tony Smith, a 38-year-old photographer who is now a chef, finished in third place.
Other contestants like Kuldip Singh Sahota, Solomon Smith, Gary Thomasson, and Nicola Fitzpatrick were eliminated earlier in the competition. Duncan Meyers was eliminated just before the final. Everyone showed great passion for barbecue!
