BVN is an Australian architecture firm. An architecture firm is a company that designs buildings and other structures. BVN has offices in Sydney, Brisbane, and Canberra in Australia. They also have offices in New York and London.
The Story of BVN
BVN started a long time ago, in 1926. It was first founded by Arthur William Forster Bligh and Colin Jessup. After World War II, more partners joined, and the company's name changed.
In the late 1990s, around 1997 to 1999, the firm grew even bigger. It merged with several other architecture companies. This created a new firm called Bligh Voller Nield. One of the important people involved was Lawrence Nield.
Later, in 2009, the company changed its name again to BVN Architecture. In 2013, it merged with another firm called Donovan Hill. This made it BVN Donovan Hill. Finally, in 2014, the company became known simply as BVN.
BVN is a very large architecture firm. They design many different types of buildings. These include airports, offices, and public buildings. They have also designed facilities for big events. For example, they worked on projects for the Athens Olympic Games in 2004. They also helped with the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. And they designed things for the London Olympic Games in 2012.
