Babbu Maan was born as Tejinder Maan in the village of Khant Maanpur. This village is located in the Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab. He was born on March 29, 1975.

Music Career Highlights
Babbu Maan first recorded an album called Sajjan Rumaal De Geya in 1997. However, he later changed and re-released most of those songs. His first official album, Tu Meri Miss India, came out in 1999.
In 2001, he released his third album, Saaun Di Jhadi. This album included popular songs like Chan Chanani and Dil Ta Pagal Hai. In 2003, he wrote and sang for his first movie soundtrack, Hawayein. He worked with other famous Indian singers on this project.
His fourth album, Ohi Chann Ohi Rataan, was released in 2004. Then came Pyaas in 2005, which became one of the best-selling Punjabi albums at that time.
