What's the Story of Babes in Toyland?
This movie tells the story of Tom the Piper's Son and Mary Quite Contrary. They are about to get married! But a mean man named Barnaby wants to stop their wedding. He wants to marry Mary himself.
Barnaby's Sneaky Plan
On the night before the wedding, Barnaby hires two clumsy men. Their names are Gonzorgo and Roderigo. Their job is to get rid of Tom. They also need to steal Mary's sheep. Little Bo Peep is looking after these sheep. If Mary loses her sheep, she will become very poor. Barnaby thinks this will make it easier to force her to marry him.
Tom's Escape to Toyland
Gonzorgo and Roderigo capture Tom and the sheep. But instead of harming Tom, they sell him to some traveling gypsies. Tom is very clever and manages to escape from the gypsies. He then finds Mary, Bo-Peep, and their other Mother Goose friends. Together, they all travel to a wonderful place called Toyland.
Adventures in Toyland
In Toyland, they meet the Toymaker and his helpers. The Toymaker creates amazing toys for children everywhere. But Barnaby is still trying to cause trouble! He follows them to Toyland and tries to ruin everything. Tom, Mary, and their friends must work together to stop Barnaby. They need to save Toyland and make sure the wedding can finally happen. They face many challenges, including giant toys and tricky traps.
