Marcellus Rayvon Register was born on February 7, 1991, in Detroit, Michigan. Growing up, he enjoyed playing sports like basketball and football. He also learned to play the trumpet.
Music Career Highlights
Babyface Ray started his music journey around 2010. He joined a group called Team Eastside with another Detroit rapper named Peezy.
In 2015, he began to get noticed. This happened after he released his first mixtape called MIA Season. A mixtape is like an album, but often released independently.
He continued to release more mixtapes. These included Ghetto Wave in 2017 and MIA Season 2 in 2019. MIA Season 2 featured his first song to become very popular, "move to la." This song was a hit on social media platforms like TikTok.
