After finishing St. Xavier High School in 2012, George received a scholarship for football. He went to Indiana State University and studied communications. He then transferred to Sac City College and later to Stephen F. Austin University. In 2016, he left college.
Starting a Music Career
In 2017, George played football briefly for the CFL team, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
While he was under house arrest in 2016, George decided to become a rapper. He was inspired after watching rapper Lil Baby perform on TV. He first used the name "Big Gee". Later, he changed it to "EST Gee". EST stands for "Everybody Shines Together".
He released his first song, "Stains", on YouTube in December 2017. He kept releasing music online and built a local fanbase. His first two mixtapes, El Toro and Die Bloody, came out in 2019.
Rise to Fame
EST Gee became more widely known with his third mixtape, Ion Feel Nun, released in March 2020. He followed this with I Still Don't Feel Nun in December 2020.

His fifth mixtape, Bigger Than Life or Death, was released on July 21, 2021. It included other famous rappers like Future and Young Thug. EST Gee explained that the project meant he was unstoppable. He said, "Can't nothing affect me or stop me." The mixtape debuted at number 7 on the Billboard 200 chart.
A deluxe version, Bigger Than Life or Death, Pt. 2, was released in December 2021. It included more songs and features from artists like Yo Gotti and Moneybagg Yo.
