Bailadores is a town located in the western part of the Mérida State in Venezuela. It is also the main town, or capital, of the Rivas Dávila Municipality. This town is known for its beautiful mountain views and rich history.

History of Bailadores

Bailadores was officially founded on September 14, 1601. A person named Captain Luis Martín Martín established the town. He was given this important job by Peter Sandes Court, who worked for the Royal Audience of Santa Fe de Bogotá. This makes Bailadores one of the older towns in the region.
