Bajo Aragón is a special wine region in Spain. It is known for its "Vino de la Tierra" wines. This means "Wine of the Land." It is a quality level for Spanish wines. It is one step below the main "Denominación de Origen" (DO) level. The DO level is for wines from very specific, well-known areas.
This wine region is located in an area called Lower Aragon. This is in the Aragon region of Spain. The area includes about 50 towns in the Province of Teruel. It also has about 25 towns in the Province of Zaragoza.
