Bakerville is a small, unincorporated community located in the town of Lincoln, in Wood County, Wisconsin, United States. An unincorporated community is a place that doesn't have its own local government. Bakerville is found where County Highways B and BB meet. It's about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) southwest of a larger city called Marshfield.
History of Bakerville
Bakerville had a post office that helped people send and receive mail. This post office was open for many years, from 1879 until 1900. The community got its name from a man named James H. Baker. He owned land in the area a long time ago.
