Baran Kosari (Persian: باران کوثری; born September 16, 1985) is a famous actress from Iran. She started acting when she was very young. Her parents, Jahangir Kosari and Rakhshan Bani-E'temad, are both filmmakers. Baran often acted in her mother's movies when she was starting out.
Baran Kosari has won many important awards for her acting. These include two Crystal Simorgh awards, which are like the top film awards in Iran. She has also won two Hafez Awards and other honors for her amazing performances.

Baran Kosari's Acting Journey
Baran Kosari studied at the Soureh Academy. Her very first acting role was in a film called The Best Papa of the World in 1991. She was just a child then!
