Baran Kosari (Persian: باران کوثری) is a talented Iranian actress. She was born on September 16, 1985. Her parents, Jahangir Kosari and Rakhshan Bani-E'temad, are both filmmakers. Baran started acting in movies directed by her mother.
Baran Kosari has won many awards for her acting. These include two Crystal Simorgh awards, which are very important in Iranian cinema. She has also received two Hafez Awards and other honors for her performances.
