Barnes is a small place in Dale County, Alabama, in the United States. It's known as an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government. Barnes is also sometimes called Barnes Cross Roads or Burns. You can find it about 4.6 miles (7.4 km) south-southeast of a town called Ariton, right along Alabama State Route 123.
