Barre (pronounced BARR-ee) is a small town in La Crosse County, Wisconsin, United States. In 2010, about 1,234 people lived there. It is part of the larger La Crosse area. The town's main office, called the town hall, is located in a community known as Barre Mills.

The town of Barre was most likely named after Barre, Vermont. This is because some of the first people to settle in this area came from Vermont.
