Bayview is located in the eastern part of Cameron County. You can find it at these coordinates: 26°7′46″N 97°24′4″W / 26.12944°N 97.40111°W.
It is about 16 miles (26 km) east of San Benito. It is also 14 miles (23 km) northwest of Port Isabel.
The town covers a total area of about 4.6 square miles (12.0 km²). Most of this area is land, about 3.9 square miles (10.1 km²). The rest, about 0.7 square miles (1.9 km²), is water.
