Iris hookeri, often called the beach head iris, is a special type of iris flower.
Discovering the Beach Head Iris
This unique iris is found only in certain places, which means it is endemic to those areas. You can find it growing along the sea coasts and beaches of Maine in the Northeastern United States. It also grows in eastern Canada.
