Beau Mundine is an Australian former professional rugby league player. He played in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. His main position on the field was in the centres.
Beau Mundine's Rugby Career
Beau Mundine is related to some famous athletes! He is the younger cousin of Anthony Mundine, who was a rugby league player before becoming a boxer. Beau is also the nephew of the well-known boxer Tony Mundine.
Beau started his rugby league journey playing for a junior team called St. George. He made his first big appearance in the NRL in 2002. At 21 years old, he played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs. His debut game was against the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval.
In 2004, Beau signed with the Canberra Raiders. However, he did not play any first-grade games for them. His last year in the NRL was 2006, when he was with the St. George Illawarra Dragons. He also did not make any first-grade appearances for the Dragons.
