Ben Watts grew up in Australia. He is the older brother of the well-known actress Naomi Watts. Their father was Peter Watts, who worked as a road manager and sound engineer for the famous band Pink Floyd.
Ben studied photography at the Sydney College of the Arts in Australia. This is where he began his journey in photography, starting as an assistant to other photographers.
