Clive John "Benji" Webbe (born 11 March 1967) is a singer from Newport, Wales. He is best known as the lead singer for the band Skindred. Their music mixes reggae and metal sounds.

Early Life and Background
Benji Webbe was born on 11 March 1967 in Newport, Wales. His parents came to the UK from Jamaica. His father traveled to the UK on the Windrush ship. This ship brought some of the first groups of people from the West Indian islands to the United Kingdom.
Benji's father first arrived in Manchester. He found it hard to get a job there, so he moved to Wales. Benji became an orphan when he was 13 years old. His older brother raised him in Newport.
Benji Webbe's Music Career
Benji Webbe first became well-known with the band Dub War. They released two studio albums called Pain and Wrongside of Beautiful. They were working on a third album before the band broke up in 1999.
After Dub War, Benji worked on a short project called Mass Mental with Robert Trujillo. Then, he formed Skindred with other former members of Dub War. Skindred has released many albums and is very popular.
Benji has also performed with other famous bands. In 2006, he sang with Korn at the Download Festival. He also appeared on albums by Bullet for My Valentine and Soulfly. In 2012, he worked with the band Dirty Wormz.
In 2015, Benji Webbe released his first solo album. It was a reggae album called I Haven't Been Nicking in Ages. He also continued to perform with Mass Mental and Dub War.
In 2018, Benji Webbe was honored during Black History Month in the UK. He was named one of 100 "Brilliant, Black and Welsh" people.
In 2020, Benji started a new music project called Diamond Spider. He created this project with Richie Glover, who was the bassist for Dub War. They released their first song that year.
Benji Webbe's Personal Life
Benji Webbe has four children and seventeen grandchildren. In September 2022, he married his wife, Julie Christian.
