Benny Gordon (born 1932 – died December 24, 2008) was an American singer. He was known for his soul and R&B songs. He recorded music from the early 1960s into the 1970s.
Benny started his music career in a gospel group called the Christian Harmonizers. Later, he formed his own band, Bennie Gordon And The Soul Brothers. In 1968, they released a popular song called "What Is Soul" with RCA. They also performed a song called "I Can't Turn You Loose".
Benny Gordon & the Soul Brothers often performed at a famous club called Trude Heller's. They even played for the opening of Trude Heller's Take V club in 1970. As a solo singer, Benny released other songs like "True Love Is All I Need" and "Sugar Mama".
