Berg en Dal facts for kids
Berg en Dal is a special kind of town area called a municipality in the Netherlands. It's located in the province of Gelderland. In 2019, about 34,798 people lived there.
History of Berg en Dal
This municipality was created on January 1, 2015. It was formed by joining three smaller municipalities: Groesbeek, Millingen aan de Rijn, and Ubbergen.
At first, the new, larger municipality kept the name Groesbeek. However, on January 1, 2016, its name was changed. It became Berg en Dal, named after the village of Berg en Dal.
