Becoming Maid Marian

Bernadette O'Farrell is most famous for playing Maid Marian in the 1950s TV show The Adventures of Robin Hood. This popular show was about the legendary hero Robin Hood.

This is sometimes called avoiding "type-casting," which means being known for only one kind of character. After she left, another actress named Patricia Driscoll took over the role of Maid Marian.
