Bert's friends decide to form a special group. They call themselves the Becka Boysen. This group wants to be the coolest around. They try to be in charge of things. They are inspired by exciting movies.
Bert's Love Life and Friends
Bert is currently going out with Nadja. But Nadja seems more interested in playing her violin. Bert sometimes wonders if she prefers music over spending time with him.
He also gets curious about Rasmus. Rasmus is a boy Nadja plays music with. Bert wonders what they do together.
Family and Fun
Bert's grandmother meets a new man named Henry. This brings some new changes to the family. Also, the Ljung family's car breaks down.
Many chapters in the book end with short stories. These are called "Kobåj-Kurt" stories. They add extra fun to Bert's diary entries.
