Berzy-le-Sec (pronounced like "bear-zee luh sek") was once a small town, or commune, in northern France. It was located in the Aisne department, which is part of the Hauts-de-France region.
On January 1, 2023, Berzy-le-Sec joined with another nearby town. It became part of a new, larger commune called Bernoy-le-Château. This means Berzy-le-Sec is no longer a separate commune on its own.

Why Do Communes Merge?
