Early Life and Music
Danny Rey was born in 1934. He grew up to become a talented musician. In the 1950s, he started his music career. He played in clubs and hotels in Miami. He also performed with calypso bands in the Bahamas.
Moving to New York
In the early 1960s, Danny Rey moved to New York City. This was a big step for his music career. He worked a lot with a famous jazz musician named Randy Weston. He also performed with another great artist, Junior Cook.
Playing with Jazz Legends
Danny Rey played with many well-known jazz musicians.
